AN15 Alkylated Naphthalene
HQT-AN15 Alkylated Naphthalene is Group V API base oil. It has superior thermal oxidation stability and excellent hydrolysis stability. If formulating with alkyl naphthalene base oils, the engineer can achieve the same anti-wear or friction-reducing performances with less additives, which is the outstanding property of alkyl naphthalene base oils. Alkylated naphthalene base oils can effectively inhibit the formation of deposit and paint film. Alkyl naphthalene ANs are also well used in grease formulations for dispersing the thickeners well, thus reducing the dosage of thickeners for certain NLGI grade greases, at the same time, the grease has a better low-temperature fluidity. As the global price of lithium salts as thickeners continues to rise and is difficult to guarantee to supply, alkylated naphthalene ANs added to lithium grease becomes even more important.
